We are seeking aSenior Accountant (Fixed Assets)
The following are responsibilities related to the Senior Accountant position:
Prepare monthly journal entries requiring calculations of a moderate to high level of difficulty.
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations with a moderate to high level of complexity.
Review general ledger detail and expense run-rates to identify and record required adjustments and reclassifications.
Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Company policies to solve moderate to complex problems.
Coordinate and oversee assigned accounting processes.
Analyze complex financial data and extract relevant information; interpret data for purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
Mentor and help train more junior level staff accountants.
Assist with identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Provide internal and external auditors with requested documentation.
Understand and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
Support merger and acquisition initiatives.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Senior Accountant position:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
Five years accounting experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific experience.
Experience in Accounting Software.
Excellent spreadsheet skills.
Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
The following are preferred qualification s related to the Senior Accountant position:
Degree in Accounting
SAP and BPC experience.
