Job Description
: Our local client located in Alameda, California is looking for an Accounting Assistant ASAP! This person will focus mainly on cash receipts and cash applications. Record and apply payments received, payment transactions, checks mailed in, and ACH payments.

Complete the application of unapplied items and transfers as assigned Assist with Accounts Payable entry, check runs, and voucher packet maintenance. Assist the Accounting Team with month-end close tasks. Ad hoc administrative duties as required Qualifications: Intermediate Excel/Microsoft Office experience required.

Prior AR/Cash receipts experience Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills.
